1. Creator eligibility
Creator accounts are available only to adults who can enter binding agreements. Creators must provide accurate account, identity, tax, business and payout information where required.
Purplesse may require verification before approving certain Creator types, content categories, publication rights or payouts.
2. Creator types and capabilities
Purplesse may distinguish between Standard, Journalist, Brand, Mature and Author Creators or other approved capabilities.
A label, verification badge or capability may be used only after approval. Creators must not misrepresent their identity, profession, authority, brand relationship or verification status.
3. Creating and submitting stories
Creators may build drafts using the Story upload workflow and submit complete story packages for review.
Submission does not guarantee approval or publication. Submitted versions may be locked while a review is pending.
4. Rights and permissions
Creators may upload only content they created, own, licensed or are otherwise authorised to publish and commercialise.
Creators must hold all necessary copyright, image, personality, privacy, trademark, location, contractual, publication and commercial-use rights.
5. People depicted in content
Where identifiable people appear, the Creator must have a lawful basis and any consent or release required for the intended publication and commercial use.
Creators must not upload hidden-camera material, non-consensual intimate content, unlawfully obtained private material or content that places a person at unreasonable risk.
6. Licence to Purplesse
The Creator grants Purplesse a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, technically process, resize, crop, format, review, moderate, display, market, distribute and make the submitted content available through the platform.
The licence is limited to operating, promoting, securing and improving Purplesse, fulfilling Collector purchases, handling disputes and complying with legal obligations.
7. Preview and marketing use
The Creator authorises Purplesse to display the approved cover, title, hook, Creator name, metadata and selected preview content for marketplace discovery and platform marketing.
Purplesse will not intentionally expose locked story content beyond the configured preview or uses required for review, support, security and legal compliance.
8. Review and publication
Purplesse may approve, reject or request changes to a submission. Approval does not create a permanent right to publication.
Publication remains controlled by Purplesse and may depend on identity verification, capability approval, content review, payment readiness and legal compliance.
9. Pricing
Creators may choose a price within the range supported by Purplesse. Purplesse may introduce category limits, minimum prices, maximum prices or pricing guidance.
Prices shown to Collectors may include taxes, payment costs or other amounts required by law or the applicable commercial model.
10. Fees and payouts
Creator earnings are calculated under the commercial terms and revenue share shown in the Creator workspace or otherwise agreed with the Creator.
Payout eligibility, timing, verification, reserves, refunds and chargebacks are governed by the Payout Policy.
11. Taxes
Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations, registrations, invoices and reporting unless applicable law requires Purplesse or a payment provider to handle a specific obligation.
Purplesse may withhold or report amounts where required by law and may request tax information before enabling payouts.
12. Revisions and submission snapshots
A reviewed or purchased version may be stored as an immutable submission or purchase snapshot to preserve moderation evidence and Collector access.
A later revision may require a new review and does not automatically replace a version already purchased by Collectors.
13. Removal and purchased access
A Creator may request removal from future marketplace sales, subject to the available product controls.
Removal from public sale does not automatically erase purchase records or terminate lawful Collector access to a previously purchased snapshot.
14. Content-specific rules
Journalism, Brand, Mature, Author and AI-assisted content may be subject to additional declarations, verification and policy requirements.
Creators must follow the Content Policy, Mature Content Policy and AI Content Policy where applicable.
15. Creator warranties
The Creator confirms that submitted information is accurate, the content is lawful, all required rights are held and publication does not breach another agreement.
The Creator must promptly notify Purplesse if rights expire, consent is withdrawn, a claim is received or the content becomes unlawful or misleading.
16. Claims and cooperation
Creators must reasonably cooperate with rights, safety, payment and legal investigations relating to their content.
To the extent permitted by law, Creators are responsible for losses and third-party claims caused by their unlawful content, false declarations or breach of these terms.
17. Account restriction
Purplesse may restrict submissions, publication or payouts where verification is incomplete, a claim is pending, fraud is suspected or platform rules have been violated.
Serious or repeated violations may result in removal, payout holds, account suspension or termination.
Questions about these terms or policies can be sent using the contact information in the Imprint.
