1. Collector account
A Collector account enables purchases, private Collection access, account-based purchase history and other Collector features.
Collectors must keep their account secure and ensure that payment and account information is accurate.
2. Story previews
A public preview may show selected images, text or metadata before purchase. Preview content is intended to help the Collector decide whether to unlock the complete Story.
The exact number and selection of preview elements may vary between stories.
3. Purchase and digital access
When a Collector completes checkout, the Collector purchases personal digital access to the selected Story. Ownership of copyright or the underlying content is not transferred.
Digital access may begin immediately after successful payment confirmation.
4. Price and payment
The total price and currency are shown before checkout. Any applicable taxes or payment information required by law will be shown during the purchase flow.
Payment processing is performed through an external payment provider. A purchase is completed only after successful payment confirmation.
5. Personal access licence
Purchased access is personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable. It allows the Collector to view the Story through the authorised Purplesse account.
Collectors may not download through unauthorised means, record, copy, scrape, resell, publicly display, redistribute or publish the purchased content unless expressly permitted.
6. Collection access
Purchased Stories are connected to the Collector's private Collection. Purplesse aims to preserve access to the purchased submission snapshot even if the Creator later removes the story from public sale.
Access may still be restricted or removed where required by law, rights claims, safety concerns, payment reversal, account abuse, sanctions or circumstances that make continued delivery legally or technically impossible.
7. Withdrawal and immediate performance
Where required by consumer law, the checkout flow will request the Collector's prior express consent for immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledgement that the statutory withdrawal right may be lost once performance begins.
Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
8. Refunds and technical access
Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy. Duplicate charges, failed delivery, unauthorised transactions and unresolved technical access problems may be reviewed.
Where possible, Purplesse may first attempt to restore access before issuing a refund.
9. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Collectors should contact Purplesse before initiating a payment dispute so that technical or billing issues can be investigated.
Where a purchase is refunded, reversed or charged back, access to the relevant Story may be suspended or removed.
10. Mature content
Mature Stories are available only to adults and may require additional age confirmation or access controls.
Collectors must not share mature content with minors or bypass mature-content restrictions.
11. Misuse
Account sharing, credential resale, payment fraud, automated extraction, access-control circumvention and unauthorised redistribution are prohibited.
Serious or repeated misuse may result in access restriction, account suspension or termination.
Questions about these terms or policies can be sent using the contact information in the Imprint.
