Rules for AI-generated and AI-altered content.

Creators must accurately disclose when a Story contains images, text, audio or other material that is substantially generated or materially altered using artificial intelligence.

Minor technical corrections such as basic colour, exposure, cropping or noise adjustments do not necessarily require an AI declaration unless they materially change the depicted reality.

The Creator remains responsible for AI-assisted content in the same way as other submitted content.

An AI declaration does not transfer responsibility to the AI provider or make unlawful, misleading or infringing content acceptable.

Creators must have the rights and permissions required for prompts, source material, reference images, generated outputs, depicted people, trademarks and commercial publication.

AI tools must not be used to reproduce protected content or a recognisable person's likeness unlawfully.

Creators must not use AI to impersonate a real person, fabricate endorsements, forge evidence or falsely present synthetic material as an authentic record.

Content that could materially mislead viewers about identity, events, places or source authenticity must be clearly contextualised or may be prohibited.

Non-consensual sexual deepfakes and synthetic intimate depictions of identifiable people are prohibited.

AI-generated mature content remains subject to the Mature Content Policy and may require additional review or restriction.

AI-generated reconstructions, simulations or illustrative scenes used in Journalism must be clearly identified and must not be presented as genuine documentary evidence.

Material alteration that changes the meaning of an event, statement, person or scene must be disclosed.

Purplesse may display AI labels, declarations or contextual notices and may request information about the tools or methods used.

Purplesse may correct a missing label, restrict visibility or reject content where the declaration is inaccurate.

Undisclosed, deceptive, infringing or harmful AI content may be rejected, unpublished or removed.

Repeated false AI declarations may result in account restrictions or loss of Creator capabilities.
