A Story is a curated visual Story built from an ordered image sequence, a title, an introduction, a category, a location, a public preview and a full locked sequence.
Creator FAQ
This FAQ is for Creators who want to understand how Purplesse works as a curated publishing and unlock platform. It explains the upload tunnel, preview logic, pricing, verification and sales structure.
Basics
A Story is a curated visual Story built from an ordered image sequence, a title, an introduction, a category, a location, a public preview and a full locked sequence.
Purplesse is built around context, order and rare access. Instead of posting everything openly, you create a controlled preview and keep the full sequence behind the unlock.
Purplesse can support categories such as Travel, Behind the Scenes, Journalism, Lifestyle, Photography, Private Diary, Fashion, Fitness and Experiences.
Upload Tunnel
The upload tunnel is the structured Creator flow for building a Story step by step. It guides you from the first Story idea to the final publish decision, so the Story does not become a random image upload.
In Basics, you define the foundation of the Story: title, introduction and core Story direction. This is where you decide what the Collector should feel curious about before seeing the full sequence.
In Define, you classify the Story more clearly. You choose category, location and important Story settings. This helps Purplesse place the Story correctly in discovery and keeps the experience more curated.
In Images Upload, you add the visual material for the Story. The goal is not to upload random images, but to collect a strong enough sequence to feel like a complete visual Story with beginning, context and payoff.
In Images Edit, you review the uploaded images, adjust presentation where needed and prepare the sequence visually. This step helps the Story feel more premium and intentional before it reaches the public preview.
In Preview, you see how the Story will feel to a Collector before unlock. This is one of the most important steps. The preview should show mood, quality and direction, but it should not reveal the strongest part too early.
In Pricing, you choose the final unlock price. The price should match the perceived value, image count, rarity, category, Story quality and strength of the preview. A stronger and rarer Purplesse can justify a higher price.
In Publish, you make the final decision. You review the Story, confirm that the Story is ready and either publish it or keep it as a draft. Publishing should only happen when title, images, preview and price feel aligned.
Preview
The preview is the visible part of a Story before unlock. It should show enough to create interest without giving away the full value of the Story.
Use the preview to show mood, quality and direction. Do not reveal the strongest part too early. The preview should create curiosity for the full sequence.
After checkout, the Collector gets access to the full Story sequence and can keep it inside their private Collection.
Pricing
The price should reflect image count, perceived rarity, category, Story quality, exclusivity and the strength of the preview.
No. A casual visual Story, a rare behind-the-scenes sequence and a journalism-based documentary Story can have very different perceived value.
Value increases when the Story feels specific, intentional, rare, well ordered and hard to see elsewhere.
Verification
Verification helps Collectors better understand who is behind a Story. It is especially important for journalists, brands, Mature Creators and documentary-style Stories.
No. Verification should remain a reviewed trust signal. It should not be purchasable, otherwise it loses credibility.
Journalists can use Purplesse to publish curated visual sequences, behind-the-scenes material, field impressions and documentary context that normal article formats often cannot show properly.
Sales
Published and draft Stories are managed inside the Creator workspace.
Purchases, revenue and Story performance are shown inside the Creator Dashboard as the MVP evolves.
Improve the title, preview strength, image order, pricing and category fit. The stronger the curiosity and trust, the more likely Collectors are to unlock.
